Si avvicina al mondo dei graffiti a partire dalla metà degli anni ’90, successivamente entra a far parte delle crew Overspin e AnimalKorps che lo portano a sviluppare a 360° il suo rapporto con il muro e gli spazi urbani.
Grazie alle numerose collaborazioni con artisti incontrati nei suoi spostamenti per l’Europa, crea un particolare approcio con il modo di dipingere che evidenzia il suo lato istintivo, immediato e poliedrico.
Negli anni Koes sviluppa uno stile che lega i concetti del writing a quelli della grafica passando attraverso lo studio del supporto: animali, personaggi reali o rivisitati, lettere che assomigliano a decorazioni sono il risultato di una continua ricerca e sperimentazione sull’armonia delle forme e la loro interazione con lo spazio circostante.
Fondamentale per la sua carriera è stato il periodo in cui ha vissuto a Stoccolma: l’attitudine scandinava che da sempre lo affascina riesce a sottolineare ancora di più il suo rapporto con la natura.

He approaches the world of graffiti in the mid-90s, later he became a part of Overspin and Animalkorps crews that led him to a well-rounded development of his relationship with walls and street spaces. Thanks to his several collaborations with some artists he met during his travels all around Europe, he creates a distinguishing approach to the way of painting that highlights his impulsive, immediate and versatile side. Over the years Koes has developed a style that merges writing concepts with the graphic art ones, including the study of the supports: animals, real or revisited characters, written letters that look like decorations are the result of a continuous research and experimentation on the harmonies of shapes and on its interaction with the environment. For his career the period in which he lived in Stockholm it was vital: the Scandinavian flair – always been his recurring thought – is able to underline his relation with nature. He is Infart Collective, he lives and works in Bassano del Grappa as silk-screen graphic and illustrator.
