INFART Collective e DEVO by SNACKulture presentano “IN INFART WE TRUST – Urban Art & Music Festival”, quinta edizione di un imperdibile evento di arte, fotografia, cultura e musica di respiro internazionale, ospitato a Bassano del Grappa da venerdì 2 a domenica 4 settembre 2011.
Sessanta artisti della scena contemporanea nazionale e internazionale interverranno in quattro diverse location del centro storico, con performance ed installazioni, esposizioni e opere site specific, concerti live e dj set.
“IN INFART WE TRUST” è il concept, all’apparenza pretenzioso, scelto dal collettivo.In realtà credere nel Festival significa credere nella città che lo ospita, avere fiducia nelle potenzialità di una piccola realtà che riesce a calamitare su di sé l’attenzione e l’interesse della scena artistica a livello europeo.
Lo stile comunicativo è caratterizzato da toni sobri e rassicuranti, da immagini e cromie profondamente legate alla tradizione locale trattati in maniera del tutto fresca e originale, con quell’approccio innovativo che contraddistingue fin dalla sua origine il collettivo bassanese.
Cuore pulsante del Festival sarà anche quest’anno l’ Arena Cimberle-Ferrari, nel centro della città, teatro di performance artistiche e musicali con grandi nomi della street art e della scena elettronica nazionale ed internazionale.
I muri dell’Arena saranno per gli street artists la tela su cui agire: dalla Spagna le geometrie cariche di colore di Zosen, Kenor e H101; dalla Francia la precisione e il tratto grafico di Remed, Amose, Tilt e Honet; e poi Won ABC dalla Germania, Steve Locatelli dal Belgio, Nychos dall’Austria. Un melting-pot di forme, simboli, immaginari creativi e personalità diverse per creare un’opera unica e irripetibile.
A far da colonna sonora all’evento la tropical house dei Savage Skulls per la prima volta live in Italia. Il duo di dj svedese è uno dei gruppi di testa dell’importante etichetta americana Mad Decent, capitanata da Diplo.
Anche quest’anno il gruppo che aprirà la serata sarà il duo di dj italiano Ackeejuice Rockers.
Claudio King P ed Ali Selecta rappresentano infatti il progetto musicale di Infart e al loro attivo hanno svariate esibizioni nei club italiani. Recentemente è uscita la loro prima produzione Dancefloor, un pezzo lancio in free download arrivato alle orecchie di molti artisti internazionali e proprio in questi giorni Ackeejuice ha vinto l’Ursa Major Remix Competition dell’etichetta newyorkese Trouble & Bass
Al festival di Infart non si placa solo la sete di arte e musica: vari punti di ristoro saranno allestiti presso l’Arena, aperta ad ingresso libero per tutta la durata dell’evento. Sarà inoltre possibile effettuare acquisti presso la Shop Area – ricca del merchandise ufficiale di Infart e altri prodotti dell’urban culture – e visitare il backstage per l’accoglienza degli sponsor, stampa e ospiti accreditati.
Nella suggestiva cornice del Castello degli Ezzelini sarà di scena il primo Kids Of Grime, rassegna fotografica e musicale sulla cultura urbana londinese conosciuta come Grime. La mostra, aperta per tutto il week-end, sarà curata da Verena Stefanie Grotto, fotografa e blogger italiana che vive a Londra e da anni segue una delle scene underground attualmente più in fermento. Il Castello farà da sfondo anche a diversi dj set oltre al live show di Jammer, esponente di spicco del fenomeno londinese.
Agli Ex-Garage Nardini le installazioni site specific di alcuni tra i più estroversi artisti italiani come Ufocinque, 108, Aeighenes, Guildor, Diego Knore, Koes, Manuel Pablo Pace, Sika, Cera e Giovanni Pasini concorreranno alla riqualificazione degli spazi e alla creazione di un vero e proprio atelier en plein air attivo per tutta la durata del Festival. Il coinvolgimento dello spettatore sarà a 360° grazie ad un allestimento studiato ad hoc. L’esposizione culminerà domenica 4 settembre con un aperitivo-finissage.
Il Museo Civico ospiterà l’ambizioso progetto “Vulpes Pilum Mutare” mostra curata da Carolina Lio in collaborazione con Infart Collective. Street culture, new punk, freaks, pop surrealism considerate fin poco fa espressioni di nicchia sono ormai parte del vocabolario dell’arte ufficiale. La mostra “Vulpes Pilum Mutare” si interroga su come è avvenuto questo cambiamento di visione invitando circa quaranta artisti italiani di diverse generazioni, media e provenienze culturali a interfacciarsi in un progetto ibrido e ambizioso. Attraverso nomi culto della storia dell’underground italiano, artisti istituzionalizzati e affermati pronti a raccogliere la provocazione e una nuova generazione creativa senza paura e preconcetti, il progetto presenta una visione complessiva che fa il punto della situazione sul nuovo vero linguaggio dell’arte e le sue – per nulla pure e scontate – origini.
Il vernissage è previsto per venerdì 2 settembre e la mostra rimarrà aperta fino al 10 settembre. Per l’evento sarà stampato un catalogo di circa 136 pagine con traduzioni in inglese e spagnolo.
Come nelle precedenti edizioni l’ingresso a tutte le location del Festival è rigorosamente gratuito.

Infart Collective and Snack Culture present “IN INFART WE TRUST- Urban Art & Music Festival”, this is the 5th edition of an event you can’t afford to miss focusing art, photography, cultural and international music, hosted in Bassano del Grappa from Friday the 2nd to Sunday, 4th September 2011.
There will be sixty artists of national and international contemporary scene; they will be present in four different location of the historical center with their performances, art installations, exhibitions, site specific works, live concerts and dj set.
“IN INFART WE TRUST” it’s the concept, pretentious to all appearance, chosen by the collective. In shoot, believe to the festival means believe to the hosting city and trust the potential of a small reality able to attract the attention and the interest of the European artistic scene.
The communication style is characterized by sober and cheering tones, by colors and images profoundly connected to the local tradition and they are treated in an original and fresh manner. This innovative approach is, since its origin, the hallmark of this group of artist from Bassano.
Of particular importance is the choice of Arena Cimberle-Ferrari as the beating heart of the Festival. At the end of the festival, this historic location will disappear to make room to the new Botanical Museum. So this will be the last chance for this place to be a container of musical and artistic performances, the last occasion to host big names of street art and celebrity of national and international music scene.
The walls of Arena will be artists’ canvas: from Spain Zosen, Kenor and H101 and their colorful geometries; from France the precision and graphical sign of Remed, Amose, Tilt and Honet; and also Won ABC from Germany, Steve Locatelli from Belgium and Nychos from Austria. A melting-pot of shapes, symbols, creative and different personalities for creating a unique and one-shot work.
Awaited is the first musical performance in Italy of the Savage Skulls, a Swedish duo of Djs, spearheads of U.S. label Mad decent, headed by Diplo. Then will appear on stage Ackeejuice Rockers, Infart musical project that has already performed in Italian clubs and celebrity of the former Festival’s editions.
Arena will be open and free-entry for the whole duration of the event, and there will be: food and drink stands, a Shop Area where you can buy official Infart merchandise and others urban culture products. There will be also a backstage area for the reception of sponsors, accredited – for this event – press and host.
At the Ezzelini’s Castle will be on stage the first Kids of Grime, a photographic and musical performance about the London urban culture known as Grime. The exhibition is curated by Verena Stefanie Grotto, Italian photographer and blogger who lives in London and since years she follows one of the most bubbling underground scenes today.
The Castle will be the background of different dj set and also of Jammer live show, one of the leading figures of this London phenomenon.
The exhibition will be open all weekend long from the 2nd till the 4th of September.
At the Ex Garage Nardini some site specific installations, some of the most extroverted italian artists such as Ufocinque, 108, Aeighenes, Guildor, Diego Knore, Koes, Manuel Pablo Pace, Sika, Cera and Giovanni Pasini. They’ll contribute to the space improvement and to the creation of a real outdoor atelier, which will be active, all Festival long. There will be a 360° crowd’s involvement thanks to an ad hoc mounting. The peak of the exhibition will be on September 4th with a finissage aperitif.
The Music Civico will host the ambitious project Vulper Pilum Mutare, an exhibition curated by Carolina Lio wih Infart Collective collaboration. Street culture, new punk, freaks, pop surrealism were regarded until lately as niche expression, but now are a part of the official art dictionary. Vulpus Pilum Mutare exhibition wonders about how this change has happened, and does this inviting about 40 Italian artists from different generation, media and Vulpes pilum mutare exhibition wonders how this turn of mind happened, and does this inviting about 40 Italian artists of different generations, different media and variant cultural backgrounds to interface on an hybrid and ambitious project. This project presents, thanks to cult names of Italian underground history, to artists who have now become institutions that are ready to react and through a new generation of creative with no fear and prejudices, an overview to take stock of the situation of the new real art language and of its origins.
The vernissage is scheduled for Friday, 2nd September and the exhibition will be open till Saturday, 10th September. On the occasion of the event will be printed a 136 pages catalogue, with English and Spanish translations.
As in the previous editions the entrance to all the locations of the Festival is strictly free.
